Obituary for Edward Augustus Lambert, Jr.

Edward “Sonny” Augustus Lambert Jr, age 76 of Emmitsburg, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, February 25, 2018.
Born on September 10, 1941 in Carroll County he was the son of the late Edward A. Lambert Sr. and Mary Lee Wetzel Lambert.
Sonny was employed at Glade Valley Horse Farm in Mt. Pleasant for most of his adult life. He really enjoyed taking care of some famous thoroughbred race horses. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, watching baseball games, going to Bluegrass festivals and listening to Sunday morning gospel on the radio.
He is survived by his daughter, Lori Stull of Myersville and sons James Lambert and wife Joanne of Hanover PA, Donald Lambert of Texas, and Duane Lambert of Arlington, VA, two grandchildren, Sara Stull of Boonsboro and David Lambert of Hanover, PA, one great-grandson, Dakota Stull of Boonsboro, and sister Margaret Stouter of Emmitsburg.
He was predeceased by sisters, Virginia Louise Heffner, and Alice Hansbrough.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, March 2nd at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway Street, Union Bridge, MD from 5pm to 7pm.
