Obituary for Larry James Bohn Sr.

Larry James Bohn Sr., age 74, of Walkersville, died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Kline Hospice House.
Born August 26, 1943 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Roger G. and Mary Bostian Bohn.
Larry was formerly employed with Eastalco, now Alcoa, retiring after 32 years of dedicated employment. He was an avid softball player and fisherman and loved feeding and watching birds. He was a diehard fan of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves.
Surviving are his children and spouses, Larry James Bohn Jr. and Michelle of Woodsboro, Kandi Lea Clarke and Gene of Boonsboro, Tammy Suzanne Chapas and Brian of Sheridan, IL and Jason Bohn of Fairfield, PA; grandchildren, John, Brandon and Cierra Boyer, Jerry Bohn, Danielle and Myranda Buckley, Daniel Rausch and Zeldalena Bohn; six great-grandchildren; siblings and spouses, Wayne M. Bohn, Marlin G. and Judy Bohn, David L. and Nettie Bohn, Sandra L. and Robert Myers, Joyce D. and Melvin Seidenzahl, and Sheila M. and Paul Wells; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Roger G. Bohn and wife, Diane and Ronald M. Bohn.
The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St,. Woodsboro on Sunday, Dec. 17 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Rocky Hill Lutheran Church, 10825 Coppermine Road, Woodsboro. Rev. Matthew Beers, church pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Rocky Hill Cemetery.
